Session Description: “Hey, do you remember that patient you saw two days ago with…?” It’s the greeting we all dread when arriving on shift. Emergency providers are prone to biases that may lead to diagnostic & therapeutic catastrophes. Recognizing the types of errors and the conditions under which they flourish will help mitigate their impact. EM cases will be used to highlight key concepts & strategies for avoidance.
