Session Description: This presentation will review multiple practical, evidence-based, opioid-sparing techniques for pain management, including using local anesthetic. Specific applications discussed will be topical, inhaled, injected subcutaneously and intravenously. It will review trigger point injections, hematoma blocks, headache treatment and other nerve blocks to relieve acute pain.
